September 2nd

Well Hello!

It has been another week and the end of a transfer! I will be staying here in Kiel for my second transfer! But we are losing an awesome Zone Leader, Elder Rückauer to Dresden. Meg, you didn't serve there right? Maybe just visited!?

We have a new investigator this week! So cool! He then came to a baptism with us in Neumünster! It was really cool to see two young boys (10 and 13) make the decision to be baptized.

I also had several opportunities to share the gospel with other people this week. One man accounted to us that several year ago in Hamburg, he remembered that missionaries taught him English and he has a Book of Mormon in his room right this minute. I hope he calls us!

So...I have had an eating appointment every Sunday since I have gotten here. Apparently, that doesn't always happen. I must be good luck or something, because we have gotten to eat delicious dinner every week! Great German food like Rot Kohl, Knödle, Goulasch, Curry somethings rather, etc. It is pretty great. I eat, like, all the time but I am not gaining weight. It is all that biking I do.

Love the place here, but not so fond of the rain...yet? Also, I have been lucky to get away with drinking mineral wasser only three times. Bwahaha.

Love stuffs.

Until next week you fantastic viewers!!

Love,
Sister Rimmasch

Hello everyone!

Here I am, still on my mission....haha, I have one more week before the end of the transfer, then I will see if I will be here in Kiel for another transfer or not. Most likely I will, which will be sweet. I like it here, the people are really friendly and I love my district.

So last P-day, played some Kicker, just so you know, Sisters beat the Elders. That is all.

Our investigator that had a baptismal date decided he no longer wanted to get baptized. His girlfriend or something (this guy is like 70) didn't want him to be baptized and he is claiming that she is all he has. (She is super young, too, like 30, whatever) Anywho, this has apparently happened before. We told him we can't meet with him if he isn't willing to accept our message. So we are sending our Ward Mission Leader to go see what's up. We will see.

On Wednesday, I had my first member present lesson! It was great! We are teaching a man who is about 74, he is Catholic and basically almost all deaf, so we will see what happens.

So half way through the week, we were sitting there, thinking about what we could do. So we decided to thin out the numbers in our phone, because there were a lot that we didn't know about. From one hour of calling, we made out about 5 appointments! Wow!!! That was something really nice! We met one of them the next day, and he was really nice. He is Muslim, but enjoys looking at other religions because you don't know perhaps you're own religion is wrong. I hope that I can guide him to find the answer for his questions about the LDS church.

District Meeting was great, I had all the Elders wear the mustache glasses. It was hilarious.

Church was kick butt! Our Bishop taught, Bishof H. He can really get a point across. He talked about how members need to be working WITH the missionaries. Not AT them or not at all. He was very firm about it and I was just getting more and more excited about it! And afterward, so many members came to talk to us and invite us over and be joint teaches for us. I can tell that something big is gonna happen. Love it!!!

And so today, is Prep day and I had a fabulous idea! I got most of our district together to make fried burritos! (almost like home, but...not) It was delicious! YUM!

Okay, this may be short, I am running out of time for the computer...hahaha

This week as far as numbers goes was terrible. This week in amount of growth was good.

I was able to have an interview with my president this week, that was really neat. Just to see how much authority and power resides in whatever room he is in  is crazy! Ach, love that guy.

We had Tausch, where we switch Sister Training Leaders companions. I was with Sister Hinkle, who is also from Utah. We have much in common, right up to our favorite type of Rootbeer. Barqes is the best. Don't you forget it.

We had to run for the bus to catch a ride to the Church for Summer Fest. Many investigators came and many viewed the church. It made my heart warmed to see the love this ward has for everyone.

We have made new English flyers, it took a while, but hopefully it will yield great success.

Not much too report but that, as for something to think about, think about how you can help the work progress in your own part of the world. And then email or write and tell me, I am interested to know.

PS
We have an appointment with a new investigator today!
